本校為一所群育學校，一直秉持會訓「自尊、自治、自立」及此信念，成立於1970年土瓜灣盛德街，2005年遷往觀塘現址。現設11班，班額12人，為中度至嚴重情緒行為問題的小五至中六男生提供長讀及短期適應服務。學生經由「中央統籌轉介系統」入讀本校，大部份學生需同時接受由盛德中心提供之住宿服務。我們重視學生的學習和成長，持續推動學校跨專業團隊的全校參與，培育學生在「德、智、體、群、美、職」的全人發展，致力締造一個和諧、健康和關愛的環境，成就他們蛻變人生。

Shing Tak Centre School is committed to providing a comprehensive environment for the development of students who have moderate to severe emotional and / or behavioral difficulties. Since opening in the 1970s, our school has lived up to its motto, “Self-respect, Self-discipline & Self-reliance”.
Our mission is to provide both long-term and short-term adaptation programmes in a caring environment for Primary 5 to Secondary 6 pupils. Attaching great importance to the learning and growth of students, it is our duty to promote a whole-school approach through our cross-professional team to cultivate students’ whole-person development in “ethics, intelligence, physical fitness, social skills, aesthetic potential, and career”. A harmonious, healthy and caring environment is maintained to help our pupils implement whole-life changes.
